This is my guide on how to get to 99 woodcutting.

First, go to your spell book and teleport to Falador. Then go and trade with Nudolion in the Weapon Store, and buy any kind of axe you want.

Next, go to the spell book and teleport to Catherby, which actually brings you to Camelot, and go west to seers village. You should see a mix of oak trees and normal trees. Cut normal trees until 15 and oaks until 30. I suggest keeping the logs for fletching later on.

Once you hit 30, go north of the bank to the willows and the maple trees. Cut the willows until 45 and the maples until 60.

Once you hit 60, keep running south until you see a little garden with 3 yew trees, it's west of the flax field. It should look like this.
Woodcutting Guide Yews
Cut those until 75.

Once you hit 75, keep running south and slightly west of the bank until you see a rare tree icon on your minimap. There should be 3 magic trees there, and cut them until you're level 99!

And you have your skillcape!

Normal Trees - Lvl 1-15
Oak Trees - Lvl 15-30
Willow Trees - Lvl 30-45
Maple Trees - Lvl 45-60
Yew Trees - Lvl 60 - 75
Magic Trees - Lvl 75-99

Thanks for reading
